About Your Shoot
Portrait sessions differ from corporate headshots because they are unhurried, creative and attract a more varied clientele including musicians, presenters, artists, couples, friends and many others.
Corresponding with you via email or over the phone before the day is essential with these shoots. The reason for this is to make sure I understand exactly what you want to get out of your session. One of the best ways I have found to do this is to create an ideas mood-board on Pinterest. Here we can share various images of locations, lighting, clothing and styling ideas to help inspire and motivate us on the day.
Making You Feel at Ease
Not everyone is comfortable having their photograph taken so, if this sounds like you, please be reassured that part of my role as a photographer is to make you feel at ease during your shoot. Feel free to read some of the testimonials from a number of clients, like yourselves, who thoroughly enjoyed their shoots after they had been nervous or unsure to begin with.
Bringing someone along to share the experience with, whether or not they appear in the photos themselves, also adds a lovely dimension to your day. Fun and laughter off-camera always manages to infect the photos with an added sparkle.
